Osteoporosis is extremely common in both men and women over the age of 50, but did you know that bone density starts to reduce from the age of just 35! A regular and safe yoga practice adapted to the needs of the student can help us age gracefully and halt the progress of osteoporosis and even reverse its effects. A pilot study carried out on the effectiveness of yoga as a treatment for osteoporosis has shown positive results. You can find further information in my blog post Yoga for Osteoporosis.
